Privacy Policy

Effective: 5 November 2026. Last updated: 5 November 2026.

Short version

Wizuale is two apps, one on Apple TV and one on iPhone. Wizuale Mic uses the microphone and sends that sound over your own Wi-Fi to the Apple TV, so the visuals can react. That audio is not uploaded to us. The TV may send a song title and artist to GetSongBPM to read the tempo. There is no account, and the apps do not include analytics or tracking.

Who we are

Wizuale is made and run by plain d. Dawid Woźniak, a sole proprietorship (JDG) registered in Poland, which is the controller for anything covered by this policy. Contact: dawid@plaind.pl.

The two apps

Wizuale on Apple TV plays classic Milkdrop presets full screen. Wizuale Mic is a separate app for iPhone. It is how the television hears the room. You do not sign in to either app.

Song tempo

When a song is playing, the Apple TV app sends the title and the artist to GetSongBPM, and uses the tempo it gets back. That request is the song name, not the sound from the microphone. If the song is not found, the picture still runs. Wizuale Mic does not send the room audio to that service. The microphone stream stays on your Wi-Fi, between the phone and the television.

Sound from the iPhone

Wizuale Mic asks to use the microphone, because that is how it hears the room. It also needs the local network, so it can find the Apple TV on the same Wi-Fi. Once the television answers, the phone shows that it is connected, by the Apple TV’s name.

The sound is streamed from the iPhone to that Apple TV, on your Wi-Fi, and used there to drive the picture. We do not receive that audio, we do not store it, and it is not tied to an account. It is not sent to an ad network or an analytics service.

What stays on your devices

Choices such as the preset, and whether presets advance on their own, stay between the phone and the television. Removing the apps removes them with the apps.
